Transnet Engineering is inviting applications exclusively for external candidates for Trainee positions for
people with disabilities.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo the 12 months on the job training to acquire skills in
line with their own fields of study and the Transnet Operational requirements. There will be compulsory
and continuous evaluation and monitoring.

Candidates will be rotated during their training within the business to get background in other technical
fields, however still focusing on their core discipline.

NB: Training will be done in various provinces as per business requirements and that there is no
guarantee for permanent employment after completion of the 12 months training.

Position Purpose :

Transnet Engineering is offering an internship programme for People with Disabilities (PWD)

The purpose of the PWD Internship Programme is to;

Improve the skills levels for People Living with Disabilities and create skills pool for Transnet and the industry at large.

Create a diverse workforce and the work environment that supports the attraction, development, advancement and retention
